Morning. Scott here at Strathclyde coming at you with this week’s edition of the director’s vlog.
So our tagline here at Strathclyde is, we work on your building project from the ground up, we’ll lay the foundations, build your dreams and bring it all together with beautiful landscaping. Does what it says on the tin. Basically, we provide the whole service from start to end.
Our tagline used to be “diverse skills; steadfast quality” we changed up a little bit, but going back to that, it’s still something that’s really applicable in our business. We do a lot of different things, which the new tag line’s a progression of that, and we maintain the same level of quality for all the things that we do. No exceptions.
One of our core values is, “if it’s not good, it’s not good enough” and we really police each other on that and make sure that that’s what we stick to. So in regards to our diverse skills and the things that we do. Part of and being able to do that is having the right plant and equipment. So we’ve just invested in a crane truck. We’ve got our own engineer, Mark, who does steel fabrication, all our maintenance, really talented guy. So we got a crane track for him, so that we can basically install our own structural steel that we’re making, and so that we can install the larger gates and balustrades and things like that. So really cool, Mark’s driving that back down from Wellington today and I know all the guys are super excited about having that in the business.
We’ve got a really good range of diggers, from 2 tonne to 15 tonne. We’ve got trucks ranging from two tonne tippers through 12 tonne tippers and we’ve got dumpers, rollers, compaction equipment. All the small hand tools, really good breakers and saws and and all the bits and bobs. For us, our team, we want to do things efficiently and we want to make it easy for the guys so we can give our customers a good service and we can do at a good rate. We’ve got all the gear, all the guys, so that we can do all these different things we can do it well for our customers.
